Napthens are delighted to have once again been recognised in the Legal 500 UK 2024 and ranked in the top tier for:

Napthens’ licensing and corporate recovery teams were also highly commended, and the growing and highly talented Liverpool office was recognised by the Liverpool commercial litigation team being ranked for the first time.

A number of partners across the teams have been recognised as ‘leading individuals’, including “robust” commercial litigator John Whittingslow, corporate and commercial partners Keith Melling, “exceptionally able” Kieran Donovan and Jon Esner, commercial property specialist Martin Beardsworth and rural property partner Andrew Holden.

The “extremely thorough, responsive and knowledgeable” commercial litigation team was lauded, with practice head David Bailey, Charlotte Barron, “impressive” James Stephenson and Anna Abell all recognised, as was the team’s ability to provide high quality, commercial advice across a broad range of specialisms.

The “true specialist” agriculture and estates team was once again noted as one of the best in the market, with Melissa Haigh and Diane France’s strong contributions acknowledged.

The high performing corporate and commercial team were once again applauded, being described as “very strong in terms of both technical expertise and client service”.  “Venture capital expert” Richard Robinson and “transactional lawyer” Gareth McIntegart’s contributions were both recognised.
