Jon Esner

Jon leads Napthens’ commercial contracts team and has particular expertise within the travel and tourism, transport, and retail sectors (having worked for market leading companies in all of these areas).

He is an experienced commercial and compliance lawyer and senior leader in industry, and is able provide advice on a wide variety of commercial contracts, branding and intellectual property questions and on regulatory issues that include consumer law (the rights of non-business customers).

Jon is also a data protection practitioner which enables him to advise clients on all aspects of data protection law – such as how businesses should manage their personal data and data security, carry out marketing and respond to subject access requests.

His experience includes drafting commercial agreements of all kinds, including IT procurement, outsourcing agreements, cross-border arrangements and agency terms, providing compliance and regulatory advice, intellectual property management and e-commerce.
