A highly experienced commercial property partner, Tony leads Napthens’ commercial property team across Merseyside. Tony has extensive experience in all key elements of commercial property work including:
- the acquisition, development and disposal of land;
- contract drafting and negotiation;
- Landlord & Tenant related issues and estate management;
- property finance; and
- acquisitions and disposals of commercial property and small businesses.
He was recommended in the 2021 and 2022 Legal 500 Guides and has also been recommended within the 2023 Guide

Tony represents a broad range of clients with an emphasis on owner-managed businesses, pension schemes, developers, SME’s, property investors and lending institutions. His clients are spread across all sectors throughout the UK as well as overseas.
Background
Tony joined the Napthens team as a partner in 2019, having spent his previous 18 years at a large regional practice. After studying Law in Birmingham, he acquired his post-graduate qualifications at the University of Central Lancashire in Preston. Tony lives in Hesketh Bank with his family.

Tony is Director of Southport BID and a member of the Southport Townscape Heritage Project Board. Tony is also a Trustee of the Community Link Foundation.
