Charlotte has nearly 15 years of experience as a litigator acting for business owners, covering professional negligence and liability, breach of commercial contracts, financial disputes and the enforcement of security.
She acts for both commercial landlords and tenants in relation to tenancy disputes, shareholder disputes and insolvency proceedings along with SME owner-managed businesses across the UK and even international clients from the USA, China, Italy and Australia.
Charlotte takes a determined, resolute and commercial approach when acting for clients and is a recommended lawyer in the legal industry bible The Legal 500.
In 2017, Charlotte was awarded a diploma in forensic medical sciences from the Society of Apothecaries of London, one of only 11 people in that year.

Charlotte joined Napthens in March 2021 from a commercial law firm. Charlotte went on to read law before completing the bar vocational course. Charlotte converted to become a solicitor in 2010. Charlotte acts for SME owner-managed businesses across the UK. Charlotte also has experience of acting for international clients from the USA, China, Italy and Australia. Recent cases include:
- Acting for homeowners in relation to a professional negligence claim against their former solicitors for providing incorrect tax advice, beyond the scope of the retainer
- Recovering damages in professional negligence for a commercial landlord against former solicitors for failing to remove/negotiate a service charge cap included in a renewal lease
- Acted for a defendant accused of trespass and defending successfully on the basis of adverse possession in appeal proceedings
- Dealt with a case regarding pursuing and settling a nuisance claim against United Utilities for a homeowner who recovered £160,000
- Experience acting for a commercial landlord in a dilapidations claim against a government department and settling for a 6 figure sum
- Experience advising a healthcare professional as to the terms of the partnership agreement, advising upon and negotiating terms of retirement
- Assisted a client by acting in a dispute with a co-freeholder concerning a repair claim where the leaseholders were selling their interest, with no payment being made to the claiming co-freeholder
