Coronavirus: Health & Safety Latest
Updated 1 April 2020
As businesses continue to re-imagine the work they do, the workplaces in which they operate and the management of their workforce, it has never been more important to focus on the continued protection of the health, safety and welfare of your people.
Our H&S Consultants are available to support you in managing your health and safety issues at this difficult time. In the meantime the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) provide updates and guidance on a number of issues on their COVID-19 Page.
Please note: The regulator has issued a statement on 1 April 2020, in respect of continuation of their Health & Safety inspection and enforcement operations during the outbreak. To see how this may affect your business, you can review the details here.
As more and more workplaces are reducing the number of workers they have operating, this will have an impact on their first aid arrangements. The HSE have provided for a limited extension of First Aid certificate expirations and asked businesses to review their first aid needs assessments. Ensure you continue to comply with the law by following the guidance from the HSE found here.
