Robert specialises in company and business acquisitions and disposals, usually for companies with a turnover of at least £5 million. He has experience in advising on management buyouts and company reorganisations, especially when dealing with venture capitalists and alternative funding arrangements. He regularly advises banks and other funders providing acquisition finance, advising lender's on security documentation.
In addition to corporate work, Robert specialises in advising companies and businesses providing credit under the Consumer Credit Act 1974. In particular he advises on drafting and advising on consumer credit loan agreements and hire purchase agreements on behalf of lenders.
Robert joined Napthens in 2003 and became a partner in 2010. He is highlighted by the 2015 Legal 500 legal industry guide for corporate and commercial work in the area. He studied at the College of Law in York. Robert lives in Preston.
