Rachel Atherton

Rachel works within the commercial contracts team, advising clients on a wide range of commercial contracts, including commercial agreements, terms of purchase, terms of sale and distribution agreements, with a particular focus on data protection and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Her approach is both practical and highly commercial, using experience gained in-house at a multinational travel company, where she advised the business on commercial agreements and relationships and led GDPR compliance for the group.

In addition to providing advice on commercial contracts Rachel also assists businesses by providing advice on all aspects of data protection compliance, such as drafting privacy notices, advising on policies and procedures, assisting with data audits, compliance documents and subject access requests.
