Claire is Napthens’ Head of Risk, dealing with regulatory and conduct issues which may arise. In 2020 Claire was appointed by the Solicitors Regulation Authority as the firm’s Compliance Officer for Legal Practice and she also became the practice’s Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
Specialisms
Claire specialised in defendant insurance litigation prior to moving into Risk & Compliance and gained a wide range of experience in PII claims, complaints handling, AML, GDPR compliance, regulatory conduct and general risk management.
Background
Claire attended West Kirby Grammar School and then University in Newcastle prior to qualifying as a solicitor in 2008. Having trained at a high street firm in Lancashire, Claire spent the next 11 years at Keoghs prior to joining Napthens in 2019.
