A member of the corporate team, Benjamin assists on all high value transactions as well as managing a workload of intellectual property and general commercial/corporate work for a broad range of clients.
Benjamin specialises in intellectual property law which includes advising clients on methods of protecting and exploiting copyright, patents, trade marks, confidential information. He also deals with issues surrounding branding, product development and licensing agreements.
Benjamin is also responsible for the trade mark registration services, as well as enforcement and infringement issues at a UK and Community Trade Mark level.
Alongside handling a range of clients with IP-centric businesses, he has particular expertise in the technology, leisure and travel industries as well as the retail and on-line sectors.
Benjamin joined Napthens as a trainee solicitor in 2007, having read law at the University of Central Lancashire and completed his LPC at Lancashire Law School. Prior to joining Napthens, Benjamin worked in the travel industry for two years. He lives in Preston.
