Residential Plot Conveyancer – Preston

Full Time to include agile working

Are you working with a Plot Conveyancing Team and looking to join a growing Residential Conveyancing Team?

We are looking for a Residential Plot Conveyancer whose role will be primarily to act on behalf of clients purchasing new-build properties.  You will deal with these matters from start to finish on a pro active basis and to develop and maintain good working relationships with the clients and developers.  You will also have experience of dealing with sales, purchases, re-mortgages and transfers of equity to be able to manage a mixed caseload, whilst we develop this service.

Your role will include:-

  • New-build Plot purchases
  • Sales and purchases
  • Re-mortgages
  • Transfers of equity
  • Making and maintaining strong relationships with referrers and estate agents
  • Assisting with the business development of referrers and estate agents

You will have:-

  • Excellent organisational skills and a committed attitude
  • An ability to communicate clearly and accurately to different 3rd parties
  • Use of initiative
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Effective time management skills
  • Proven experience of working with a case management system
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
  • At least 3 years’ experience as a case handler with a reputable firm
  • Recent proven experience of dealing with the types of matters detailed above
  • The ability to maintain strong relationships with referrers
  • Proven understanding of the Money Laundering Regulations
