Extended licensing hours for Queen's 90th birthday - latest update
Following on from our previous e-update in relation to the above which can be viewed here, the draft Order has now been approved by Parliament and the details finalised.
Sites in England and Wales that have the benefit of premises licences or club premises certificates providing for licensable activities at 23:00 on the evening of Friday 10th June and Saturday 11th June will automatically have those permissions extended to 01:00 the following day.
It should be noted that the extension only applies to those activities that already extend to 23:00 on the relevant dates; that it only applies to premises which are permitted to provide the sale or supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises; and that any conditions that are applicable at 23:00 will continue to apply between 23:00 and 01:00.
If you require any advice on this matter, then please do not hesitate to contact a member of the Licensing team here at Napthens.
