Trade mark registration fixed fee
Trade mark registration fixed fee
Drafting an application and submitting it to the Intellectual Property Office (IPO) on your behalf, is a service Napthens can provide for a fixed fee.
Following examination, the IPO will then charge £200 for one class of goods or services and for each additional class they will charge a further £50.
A more in-depth and bespoke trade mark registration service is also available.
How Napthens can help
At Napthens we will engage with you directly to ensure the application has the required information and will be received well by the IPO.
The cost for the application process is £800 (+ VAT) for up to 5 classes of goods or services.
During the standard process, we will undertake a keyword search of UK and EU registered trade marks, that cover identical words marks, but not those that might be spelt differently, but sound the same.
However, if concerns are raised about different spellings or a logo, we can undertake a search for both, although again this will be subject to an additional cost.
If an application is subject of any objections or opposition proceedings, our IP experts will advise on the options available in order to continue with the process, and any likely costs involved.
