Wendy is a solicitor in our corporate and commercial department, she has experience of acting on a range of corporate matters, including business sales and purchases and joint ventures. Wendy also regularly advises on all types of commercial contracts, including the supply of services and goods agreements, subcontractor agreements and agency agreements and has experience in helping businesses in their arrangements with consumers under the new Consumer Rights Act 2015.
She has gained particular expertise in assisting clients in the transport sector, particularly in relation to their supply of services agreements and also subcontractor agreements and hire agreements. Wendy has also taken a lead role on company purchases for clients within this sector and so have a good understanding of the regulatory aspects which need to be considered as part of this.
I joined Napthens in March 2017 after working for a law firm specialising in the transport sector and also a brief time working in-house for a group of food companies. Prior to this I worked at Brabners LLP for 8 years as a paralegal and then a trainee solicitor before qualifying into the corporate department in 2010.
I have always lived in the Preston area and studied my LPC at the University of Central Lancashire gaining a distinction.
