Veronica Howley

Veronica helps clients to resolve disputes arising from the death of a loved one or the administration of their estates; on claims under the inheritance act and in relation to the administration of will trusts. Veronica also advises in relation to property ownership disputes arising out of the administration of estates, and on professional negligence actions in all of these areas.

She is recognised by the Legal 500 as a lead associate for her legal expertise and her empathy.

Veronica has worked in dispute resolution for over 20 years, but in more recent years has practiced exclusively in wills and estates disputes, for and in other connected claims, for both claimants and defendants, and for personal representatives of estates who find themselves having to manage a dispute between beneficiaries.

Over the years she has acted in cases involving fraud, forgery and imposters in connection with disputed wills; testamentary capacity challenges, inheritance act claims, actions for an account, will trusts and trusts of land, and in non contentious probate court applications.

Veronica has acted in several cases with an international element and has a special interest in cases involving the protection of vulnerable parties.
