Rachael Walsh
SolicitorRachael is a solicitor within the wills, trusts and probate team at Napthens Solicitors, based in the firm's Preston office.
Rachael is a solicitor in the wills, trusts and probate team, who has experience of advising on and dealing with a wide range of estates, including estates with multiple assets, assets overseas, intestate estates and taxable estates.
Her work centres around the preparation of wills and lasting powers of attorney, trusts, estate planning, assisting clients with applications for probate and the full estate administration process.
Rachael, who qualified as a solicitor in 2010, worked in civil litigation for ten years, before moving to specialise in wills and probate in 2018.
She is an affiliate member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) and is currently working towards completing the diploma to become a full member.
Experience
Rachael has experience in assisting clients with a number of private client matters including:
- Advising clients in relation to their estate planning requirements, including with overseas assets
- Assisting clients with probate applications
- Establishing and administering trusts
- Preparing lasting powers of attorney
- Preparing wills (whether that be simple wills or wills incorporating trust structures for estate preservation and/or tax mitigation purposes)
