Nicola is a legal director and works within the commercial contracts team in Manchester.
She advises clients on a wide range of commercial matters including commercial contracts, intellectual property and data protection matters across a variety of sectors.
Having spent the early part of her career working on corporate transactions, Nicola has a broad understanding of clients’ business needs and is focused on providing pragmatic and commercially focused advice and solutions.
Experience
- Advising a global specialist chemicals PLC on the commercial contracts and separation aspects of the $775m carve-out of its Performance Technologies business, including managing the global novation process and the separation of shared contracts, working closely with in-house counsel and procurement teams.
- Advising an Italian retail clothing company and a kitchenware manufacturer and retailer on UK terms and conditions of sale and consumer law compliance.
- Advising organisations across multiple sectors on transfer pricing legal arrangements, often involving complex pricing mechanisms and cross-border implications, as part of multidisciplinary teams.
- Leading commercial transactional support on a number of high-value share and asset transactions across a variety of sectors.
- Leading several multi-jurisdictional projects for a Japanese multinational automotive manufacturer, supporting local legal and regulatory compliance of procurement and supply terms and conditions.
