Merlin obtained her LLB (Hons) law degree and subsequently went on to complete a Masters in law combined with the legal practice course (LPC) at the University of Central Lancashire. During her time at university, Merlin was involved in volunteering at the pro bono law clinic, marshalling at Crown Court and being part of the debating team.
She joined Napthens as a trainee solicitor in September 2023 after having previously worked as a paralegal at law firms in Manchester and Preston.
Experience
Merlin has worked in different areas of law including travel law, litigation, personal injury and immigration.
Her experience includes conducting legal research on a broad range of topics, being in client facing roles, preparing necessary legal documents for litigation and getting involved in business development opportunities.
