More about Laura Jackson
Which actor would you choose to play you on TV or film?
Sandra Bullock. Unfortunately, the only resemblance is the dark hair but I like a good chick-flick with a good dose of humour and a happy ending - and I wouldn’t mind looking that good when I hit 50!
How do you like to relax out of work?
I try and spend as much of my free time as possible out of doors as it’s a good way to tire my children out! As a family we try to get away camping at the weekend if possible (although only during the warmer months as I am definitely a fair weather camper) and going on long walks.
What 3 items would you take with you on a desert island?
I would enjoy the rare opportunity to get some peace and quiet so definitely a good book, a supply of diet pepsi and some sun block (or I’d burn to a crisp)!
What is your proudest achievement?
It’s a bit of a cliché but definitely my two boys. They are aged 2 and 3 years with just under a year between them so my husband and I have our hands full. We usually get to end of the week feeling totally exhausted but watching them grow and develop is incredible and every now and then I feel like ‘Superwoman’.
