Janet is a legal director with many years of experience dealing with wide range of publicly funded and private client work, along with regularly representing clients at Court; conducting her own advocacy in relation to domestic abuse, children act proceedings and financial issues.

In addition, Janet has a specialism in financial issues, including conducting and advising in cases involving commercial property portfolios, farms and agricultural business assets, partnerships, companies, shareholdings, family trusts, venture capital and crypto assets.

A member of Resolution she always considers suitable options for alternative dispute resolution (ADR), but take a robust approach to court litigation, if required.

Straight talking and commercially minded Janet is always focused on achieving the best results for her clients across the UK, concluding matters as quickly and cost effectively as possible.

  • Advising unmarried partner of Premier League footballer in respect of financial claims in respect of herself and children of the family upon breakdown of the relationship
  • Negotiating and concluding pre-nuptial agreement in respect of client entering a second marriage with provision for children of first marriage and protection of substantial pre-marital assets following sale of company
  • Successfully acting for father in relocation case involving child with additional needs and subject to shared care arrangement
