Isobel Pye

Summary

Isobel is a Trainee Solicitor. She will gain a range of experience across Napthens services as part of her training.

Background

Isobel completed her Law LLB at the University of Manchester and her LPC with Law, Business and Management MSc at the University of Law. Prior to joining the firm, Isobel worked in the Legal Department at ParkingEye, where she gained experience in conducting mediations.

She spent a year assisting the Employment department at our Blackburn office in providing a broad range of advice to companies signed on to our HR3 retainer. During her time in Employment, Isobel supported clients through employment processes such as handling grievances, disciplinaries and capability procedures.  A particular highlight of her time in Employment was assisting the People Projects team in preparing and delivering training sessions on both sickness absence and the investigations process to Futaba, for which excellent feedback was received from the client.

Isobel also worked as a Litigation Executive before she started her training programme. Much of Isobel’s work in Litigation was centred around researching legal issues and supporting the Litigation team on supplying a wide range of advice to clients. She is keen to build her knowledge around the field. Isobel enjoyed supporting the team with some Commercial Property matters, such as boundary and right of way disputes.
