Hazel is a residential property solicitor, dealing with all aspects of both freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, including registered and unregistered properties, new build properties. Hazel also deals with re-mortgages, equity release and Help to Buy properties and voluntary first registrations.
Hazel joined Napthens in February 2020, having studied both as an undergraduate and graduate at University of Central Lancashire in Preston. Hazel worked in local firms from 2005 until 2014 when she joined Oldfields Solicitors in Carnforth and undertook her Training Contract, qualifying in March 2018 having done seats in residential and commercial property and civil litigation.

What do you do to relax outside of work?
Out of work I do not relax, I have two children, who constantly keep me on my feet, however I do enjoy the gym, swimming and if I get chance horse riding.
What is your proudest achievement?
Proudest work related achievement was passing all of the LPC and PSC first time with high grades whilst working full time. Outside of work, I ran London Marathon in 4 hours which put me in the faster category for my age and gender.
What is your favourite book?
Joseph Heller’s Catch 22 - Closing Time was a bit of a disappointment though!
What is the most rewarding thing about your job?
Being able to assist clients to a satisfactory outcome in their transaction.
