Gary has extensive experience in delivering cultural change and influencing operational excellence through targeted frameworks that drive consistent performance on all health and safety matters.

He leads AfterAthena’s health and safety team; interrogating systems and practices to provide practical solutions that mitigate risk, streamline business processes and deliver improved health and safety outcomes for clients across northern England.

As military veteran, former firefighter, and qualified paramedic with more than 15 years’ commercial experience, Gary has extensive experience across the education, energy, events, oil and gas, manufacturing, critical national infrastructure and humanitarian sectors.

He works alongside leadership teams to apply an agile and systematic approach to all levels of any business, to ensure the desired standard to guide workplace health, safety and welfare are weaved into the fabric of any business.
