Elizabeth is a senior associate solicitor in the wills, trusts and probate team, and has significant knowledge of advising company directors and farming families.

She is experienced in providing advice on and preparation of complex and tax efficient wills and trusts, lasting powers of attorney, and dealing with probate matters, utilising all relevant inheritance tax allowances and reliefs.

Elizabeth’s path to the legal sector saw her experience working on a pig farm after leaving school, being a company director of a poultry business at 25, before going to university at 30, gaining a law degree, and then qualifying as a solicitor in 2007.

She has previously worked for Napthens and has returned after five years with firms in the north west.

Experience

 

Elizabeth has experience in assisting clients with a number of private client matters including:

  • Advising, preparing and registering trusts and estates
  • Advising and preparing complex and tax efficient wills and trusts
  • Advising and preparing complex lasting powers of attorney
  • Managing probate matters, utilising all relevant inheritance tax allowances and reliefs
  • Preparing deeds of variation, for a wide variety of clients and circumstances, in particular for company directors and farming families
