Chris is an associate solicitor in our Employment team based at Napthens’ East Lancashire office in Blackburn. Chris handles a range of general Employment and HR matters for employers from day-to-day Employment Law and HR advice to complex TUPE and collective redundancy matters. Chris has carried out work for clients ranging from Small and Medium-sized Enterprises through to large Multinationals and PLCs across a wide-range of sectors.
In addition to his experience in general HR and Employment Law advice, Chris has experience in negotiation of settlement agreements, employment support work on mergers and acquisitions and disciplinary and capability dismissals.
Chris joined Napthens in 2014 as a trainee solicitor and qualified as a solicitor in 2016. Chris was born and raised in Bolton and attended Rivington and Blackrod High School and Sixth Form where he was Head Boy. He completed his law degree at the University of Central Lancashire and his Legal Practice Course at BBP Law School in Manchester. Chris then worked for a large regional law firm as a paralegal in the Commercial Litigation department before joining Napthens.
