Anna Hayes
Legal DirectorAnna Hayes is a legal director within the commercial property team, based in the firm's Liverpool office.
Anna has built her career in corporate real estate, with particular experience across a range of sectors, with a particular focus on industrial units, logistics and retail assets.
She has acted primarily for national and international real estate investment trusts (REITs), pension funds and institutional lenders in the acquisition, corporate occupation/management and disposal of assets.
Anna has experience in working alongside corporate teams in high profile and high value due diligence work, as well as managing teams in large scale due diligence real estate projects for clients.
With a pragmatic and deal focused ethos, Anna works pro-actively with clients to ensure their priorities become her own, leading to efficient and successful deal conclusions.
Prior to joining Napthens in 2024, Anna has gained significant experience with Hill Dickinson, DLA Piper UK and CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang.

- Acting for Downing LLP in the sale of Port of Liverpool Building and several student accommodation schemes across the UK
- Acting for Annington Limited in the due diligence aspect of the sale of 31 former MOD residential housing estates
- Acting for Barings Real Estate (Europe) LLP in the ongoing asset management and subsequent sale (with completion within 4 weeks of agreed terms) of seven industrial portfolios across the UK
- Acting for retail clients such as NewRiver Retail Limited, Argos / Sainsburys and the G Group in the asset management of retail portfolios across the UK, including managing the transition of larger assets from Wilkos to B&M Retail Limited
- Acting for REIT such as St James’s Place UK Plc, Picton Property Income Limited, Tristan Capital Ltd, USS Limited and ARA Dunedin in the acquisition, asset management and disposal of UK assets
- Acting for Mileway on some of their higher profile / higher value asset management matters
- Acting for Heineken in their non – standard / higher value asset management matters
- Acting for BC Invest, a Hong Kong based property finance platform specialising in overseas investors, in the new build residential markets in London and Manchester.
- Acting for Cityheart in the implementation of a VAT lease for the recently completed Stockport Interchange.
