Amy is a solicitor in the residential property department, based in our Kendal office. Handling residential conveyancing transactions for clients who are purchasing or selling property, Amy advises clients throughout the entire transaction, providing a high quality, personal service.
Amy has experience in many aspects of residential property including freehold and leasehold sale and purchases, re-mortgages and transfer of equity. She is also experienced in dealing with leasehold enfranchisement and the drafting of tenancy agreements.
Amy joined Napthens in 2016 to coincide with the opening of the Kendal office. She studied Law at Lancaster University and completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Central Lancashire. Amy completed her training contract and qualified as a solicitor in 2009.

How do you like to relax out of work?
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy sports and keeping fit and am a member of a local netball team.
What is your proudest achievement?
My children and family - I have managed to combine my family life with my career.
What aspect of your job do you find most rewarding?
I really enjoy helping clients through the conveyancing process and being there through what is a really important (and sometimes stressful) time. I try to make sure the process is as easy as possible for clients and love giving the good news when ‘contracts have been exchanged’ or they have ‘completed.’ I find it rewarding when clients return with further transactions or recommend me to others.
