Trampoline business takes leap forward

A Manchester business has been given a springboard to expand after support from Napthens solicitors.

Jump Nation, founded two years ago at Trafford Park, boasts the largest trampoline facility in Europe, along with a café.

Featuring 139 trampolines, the park caters for parties, group events and corporate packages, and is owned by majority shareholders Matt and Michelle Ball. The business now employs 80 staff.

Now the business has announced the acquisition of a second, 23,700 sq ft site in Walsall, near Birmingham, with plans in the pipeline for further expansion in the near future. The West Midlands expansion is expected to create 115 new jobs.

Matt and Michelle Ball were advised by Marc Appleton, solicitor in the Commercial Property team at Napthens solicitors.

Marc said: “Jump Nation is a great business model, and it’s been exciting to see them go from strength to strength.

“The trampoline park in Manchester appeals to so many difference audiences from children to adults, and I’m sure the concept will go down very well in the West Midlands.”

Michelle Ball of Jump Nation said: “We are excited with the progress of the business and the support that we have received from all the commercial team at Napthens, they have been invaluable. We look forward to developing our relationship further as the business expands.”
