We’re proud to have supported our client, Breck Homes, in the purchase of their new 4,400 sq ft office at Millshaw Park in Leeds. A move which marks a major step in the company’s continued expansion across the North of England.

About the move

The modern two-storey building offers capacity for up to 55 people and is set to become the hub for Breck’s growing operations across Yorkshire. As the business continues to expand its affordable and open market housing developments in the region, this new base will support operations, long-term strategic delivery, and the recruitment of quantity surveyors, managers and an array of other roles.

Our work

Napthens provided legal advice on the acquisition, with partner Martin Beardsworth and solicitor Zenub Hussain working closely with the Breck team to ensure a smooth and successful transaction.

Included in the work delivered was:

• Carried out a comprehensive review of the title documentation and advised the client on key issues, including rights of way and restrictive covenants.
• Reviewed the results of all property searches and provided detailed advice on associated risks and obligations.
• Obtained the necessary consents required to comply with restrictions affecting the title.
• Negotiated and finalised the contract for sale, ensuring the client’s interests were protected throughout.
• Maintained regular liaison with the seller’s solicitors to ensure the smooth and timely progression of the transaction.
• Conducted thorough due diligence on the client’s source of funds in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.
