Experienced solicitor Sarah Collier has become the latest recruit to join the Employment & HR team at law firm Napthens.
Sarah, of Bolton, joins as an associate solicitor from Cheshire firm Gorvins, and will be based at Napthens’ Preston office.
With particular expertise in advising businesses in respect of employees suffering from cancer and other disabilities, she will also advise on a full range of day-to-day employment issues such as disciplinaries, grievances and redundancy in addition to Tribunal proceedings.
Sarah was shortlisted for the Private Practice Solicitor of the Year award at the Law Society Excellence Awards in 2015, and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
She joins the team at Napthens during a period of growth. Solicitors including Carley Kerrs-Walton, Kate Shawcross, and Katy Parkinson have boosted the ranks this year, along with experienced employment law advocate Julie Duane.
Chris Boyle, head of Employment & HR at Napthens, said: “Continuing growth in demand for advice from our employment and HR experts has enabled us to significantly expand the team in the last few months.”
