Promenade Hotels sells boutique B&B

Lytham St Annes based Promenade Hotels has sold its Mode Hotel, a boutique B&B to Andrew Whittaker for an undisclosed sum.

Promenade Hotels (St Annes) Ltd, comprises Bartle Hall Country Hall and Hotel near Preston and the Best Western Glendower in Lytham St Annes. The 17-bed Mode Hotel was its contemporary B&B offering.

Andrew Haworth, director of Promenade Hotels (St Annes) Ltd commented on the deal. He said: “I’d like to wish Andrew all the best for the future. I am sure he will continue to make it one of the go-to hotels on the Fylde coast because it certainly resonates with its target audience.”

Promenade Hotels was advised on the sale of Mode Hotel by Napthens. Corporate partner, Rob Dobson led the team which included leisure & licensing head, Malcolm Ireland, employment and commercial property experts. Rob said:

“The sale of Mode Hotel enables Promenade to focus on the market which caters for guests who want an exclusive, bespoke and more rounded visitor experience. Andrew and his team created a very valuable proposition in the Mode Hotel and I’m sure it will flourish under the ownership of Andrew Whittaker.”
