Napthens’ rural team expands

The Rural team at regional law firm Napthens has expanded with the appointment of solicitor Diane France.

Diane, who is qualified as both a barrister and a solicitor, completed her law degree at Lancaster University, before training at Keoghs in Bolton.

As part of the team at Napthens’ East Lancashire office in Blackburn she will support clients by advising on a range of matters relating to the rural sector, including land and property purchases, option agreements and agricultural tenancies.

Andrew Holden, head of the Rural department at Napthens, said: “Diane joins us with a true understanding of the issues affecting the rural industry, having grown up on a farm where she is still playing an active role.

“Her rural background and in-depth knowledge of the day-to-day business of running a farm strengthen our team and truly benefit our clients.”

Napthens is one of only 16 NFU Legal Panel firms in the country. The work of the Rural team has also been highlighted in respected industry guides Chambers and Legal 500.
