The Corporate team at regional law firm Napthens have been named in the top ten of the North West’s most active dealmakers.
The law firm features at number 5 in the list from Experian Market IQ’s M&A Review of 2018, which breaks down activity from across the region by factors including deal volume and value.
Napthens has been recognised for its involvement in 35 corporate transactions over the year, which places the firm fifth in the list of law firms ranked by deal volume.
Keith Melling, head of Corporate at the law firm, said: “This is a great result for us, particularly in a list dominated by Manchester firms and is testament to the hard work of our people.
“Our Corporate team has played a key role in some high-profile deals over the last 12 months such as the acquisition of Stirling Dynamics by Assystem Technologies and Seneca Partners’ disposal of Smart Storage.
“The report shows deal activity in the UK is up on previous years and finance continues to be available, and this ranking shows that great work is being done by advisers across the region.”
