Andrew named partner at Napthens

Andrew Holden, the head of Rural at Napthens solicitors, has been named a partner at the law firm.

The specialist, who joined Napthens in 2006, acts solely for farmers and landowners, advising on a wide range of property and business matters.

A leading figure in the sector, Andrew specialises in advising on land and property sales, partnership agreements, agricultural tenancy matters and renewable energy schemes.

He is a member of the Agricultural Law Association, the CLA (the the membership organisation for owners of land, property and businesses) and the farmers union, NFU.

Ian Leigh, chief executive of Napthens, said: “The Rural team is a highly successful and specialised department which has seen tremendous growth in recent years.

“The team has expanded with a number of fresh faces joining us, and we have opened an office in Penrith to serve an increasing number of clients in that region.

“It’s an exciting time for the Rural department and Andrew is fully deserving of this promotion and I know will continue to lead his team to further levels of success.”
