Victoria Cross

Summary

Victoria is a solicitor in the Wills & Estate Planning team based in our Preston office. She advises clients on making and reviewing Wills, related inheritance tax issues, estate planning matters and trust and estate planning matters. She handles the preparation and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney, the registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney and the management of elderly clients’ general affairs.

Background

Victoria was born in Oxford but moved to Lytham 20 years ago where she now lives with her husband, two young children and dog called Noodle!

Prior to working at Napthens, Victoria attended King Edward VII and Queen Mary School in Lytham before moving on to study Law at Bristol University with a year abroad studying Law at Goettingen University, Germany. She studied the LPC at BPP Law School in Manchester, achieving Distinction.

Victoria trained at Napthens and returned to the firm in December 2020 after a period spent with another local law firm.

Memberships and Awards

Victoria is a full member of the highly regarded Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and a full professional member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) having completed the additional SFE Older Client Law in Practice (OCLP) Award.
