Summary

Stephen is a partner in Commercial Property based in our Preston office. He handles all aspects of commercial property legal work whether residential or commercial developments and redevelopments, site acquisitions, lending work and Landlord and Tenant issues including lease renewal, licence to alter, subletting’s etc.

Stephen handles all aspects of commercial property legal work, from residential to commercial developments, site acquisitions, real estate property finance, and all landlord and tenant issues.  He is a skilled and pragmatic lawyer who can manage multi-sited portfolios both locally and nationally. Among his key clients are owners of very significant property portfolios, international names in the employee recruitment sectors, regional motor traders, manufacturers and high street banks. He previously acted for Warburton’s on all property matters including site acquisitions, disposal and lease renewals. He also has experience in acting and liaising with clients, managing agents on sizable property management portfolios.  As well as advising on complex property issues, Stephen also routinely carries out corporate support for Napthens’ award winning Corporate team and he is a member of Napthens specialist manufacturing sector team.

Background

Stephen joined Napthens in 2014 from the commercial property team at Kippax Beaumont Lewis where he had been for over 9 years. Prior to this Stephen developed his commercial property expertise with north west law firms, having qualified in 2000. He undertook his Masters degree at Preston UCLAN and attended Law School in Chester. Stephen lives with his family in Leyland.
