Based in Napthens’ East Lancashire office in Blackburn, Sharon advises clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters including acquisitions, disposals and restructuring, as well as providing advice on issues such as shareholder agreements, company formation, and general commercial contracts. Sharon acts for a variety of clients ranging from individuals and SME’s to large global businesses.
Specialisms
Sharon handles a broad range of corporate work. Recent examples of transactions she has been involved in include assisting with the sale of Eison Ltd, a Manchester based specialist IT service provider to award wining hybrid cloud and managed service provider, ANS. Sharon also advised the family owners of Cyclesport North Limited, owner of the market leading Ribbles Cycles brand, on the sale and continued involvement backed by private equity investors, True Capital. Sharon assisted on the sale of North West Community Services Limited to Mediline Nurses & Carers Limited. Sharon also advised on the sale of Hawkshead Brewery Limited to Halewood International Limited.
Background
Sharon qualified at Marsden Rawsthorn Solicitors in 2007 and subsequently moved to Dickson Haslam and Taylors before joining Napthens in 2013. Sharon, who lives in Chorley, achieved a 2.1 law degree at Lancaster University and completed the LPC at Lancashire Law School where she also taught a module on a Masters Degree Course.
