Background
Born in Preston, Matthew grew up in Farington Moss near Leyland, where he still lives. He attended Hutton Grammar School and Runshaw College and then went on to study his LLB Law degree and LPC at the University of Central Lancashire obtaining a first class honours degree in law and a distinction on the LPC. He previously worked in Southport dealing with personal injury litigation matters.
