Based in Blackburn, Martin is a partner within the Wills & Estate Planning department. He combines this role with that of managing the Blackburn office, which involves him in developing links with and supporting the local business community in East Lancashire.

Martin has many years’ experience in the preparation of wills and advising on estate planning, Lasting Power’s of Attorney and in dealing with the administration of deceased’s estates as well as Court of Protection/Office of the Public Guardian work.
Background
Born in Blackpool, Martin holds an Honours Degree in Law. He joined Roscoes in 1979, qualified in 1981 and became managing partner of Roscoes from 2001 until 2006 when Roscoes merged with Napthens.
Memberships and awards
Martin is a member of the Law Society Probate Section and also Preston Incorporated Law Society where he has been a committee member since 2007. He held the post of President for 2008/09. He is also a member of Blackburn Incorporated Law Association.
