Summary
Margaret heads up the finance team at Napthens and provides the firm with the strong financial skills and expertise which are essential for a 21st century legal practice.
One of Margaret’s core objectives is to continually develop Napthens’ management reporting system to ensure that it provides financial and other information which enables the firm to monitor performance, evaluate opportunities and implement strategy.
Background
Margaret joined Napthens in 2011. She is an experienced accountant, having trained with Armitage & Norton (now part of KPMG) and since moving into industry in 1991 she has acted as Finance Director for a number of local companies including Gold Medal Travel Group and Preston Bus.
In previous roles Margaret has been involved in company acquisitions and disposals, financial restructuring and high level negotiations with regulatory authorities.
Margaret has lived in the North West for most of her life. She was brought up in Kirkham and attended Queen Mary School, Lytham. She has a degree in Politics from Lancaster University and currently lives in Fulwood, Preston.
