Helen is a member of the litigation team based in Preston. She has a wide range of litigation experience, in particular relating to property litigation for both private and commercial clients, and has in excess of 10 years experience in this area.
Specialisms
Helen has particular expertise in dealing with emergency injunctions against both individuals and local authorities. She also has substantial experience with breaches of commercial leases, which include dilapidation claims, arrears of rent, breaches of covenants, defective S25 and S26 Notices, and advising landlords and tenants in respect of the grant of a new tenancy.
Helen also acts for individual clients and has a wealth of experience in planning issues, public and private rights of way, claims for adverse possession and rectification of title, interferences with rights of drainage, and breaches of restrictive covenants.
Background
Helen joined Napthens’ Litigation department in 1999. She was admitted as a solicitor in May 1997 after qualifying at the York College of Law.
