Summary
Eve Austin is a member of Napthens’ Wills & Estate Planning team. Based in the Chorley office, she advises clients on Wills, trusts and estate planning, including estate and trust administration (probate and intestacy). Eve also advises on the management of elderly clients' general affairs and with regard to general powers of attorney, lasting powers of attorney and Court of Protection applications.
Specialisms
Eve acts for a broad range of clients on estate planning matters and advising on making and reviewing Will arrangements and creation of both lifetime trusts and those arising on death. She has a particular interest and expertise in working with the elderly and is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly.
Background
Eve joined Napthens in 2009 from Southport law firm Hodge Halsall. She studied for her law degree at the University of Central Lancashire and qualified in 2005.

Eve is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly, and is a student member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). In 2011, Eve was shortlisted in the Professsional Services category in the Enterprise Vision Awards.

How do you like to relax out of work?
I play squash, particularly if I have had a stressful day! Or relax at home watching a film or reading a good book.
What aspect of your job do you find most rewarding?
When I receive positive feedback from my clients, whether in a personal card or comments received from feedback questionnaires.
What is your proudest achievement?
Qualifying as a Solicitor in 2005, after studying at night-school 2 evenings a week for 6 years and at the same time working as a full time secretary. You really can achieve anything if you put your mind to it!
