Stacey Carter - Solicitor, Employment
Stacey provides advice on all aspects of employment law, and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association. Since joining the department she has provided advice in connection with Employment Tribunal cases, including claims for breach of contract, unfair dismissal, discrimination and redundancy.
Stacey works closely with companies to provide day to day HR advice on a range of workplace issues such as disciplinary and grievance procedures, managing poor performance and absence, dealing with misconduct and contractual disputes. She also advises companies on how to protect their interests through effective use of covenants and confidentiality provisions. Stacey reviews and drafts contracts of employment, policies and procedures, consultancy agreements and compromise agreements.
Stacey joined the firm as a trainee solicitor in July 2007 and qualified in July 2009. She studied law at Lancaster University before completing her LPC at BPP Law School in Manchester.
In her spare time she enjoys socialising with friends, keeping fit and plenty of holidays in the sun!
