Kate Baker - Solicitor, Litigation
Kate studied Law at Lincoln University, then completed her diploma in legal practice at Exeter University. She relocated from Devon to the North West where she trained with Russell and Russell, and quickly moved into the Manchester city centre to focus on commercial litigation. Kate joined Napthens in 2009.
Kate deals with a broad range of litigation matters, including contractual disputes, professional negligence, landlord and tenant. She also has Stage 1 of the Higher Rights of Audience and is hoping to complete Stage 2 in the near future. She is a keen advocate.
In the 2009 Lancashire Business View Young'uns feature, profiling the region's 'hottest young business talent', Kate was hotly tipped as “one of the legal professionals to watch".
Her interests include being a gym-aholic, spin classes, watching rugby union, and fine wine.
