John Woosnam - Head of General & Commercial Litigation Department
John read PPE at Oxford University and after passing the Common Professional Examination and Solictors Finals, was articled to Houghton Craven and Dickson, where he qualified as a solicitor in 1985. He became a Partner in the firm in 1989, shortly before the merger which ultimately created Napthens.
In the early years after qualifying, John covered all areas of Litigious law including Family, Crime and Personal Injury cases through to Commercial Property, Land and Landlord & Tenant disputes. John is the head of the Commercial and Civil litigation team and he now specialises in resolving Company/Commercial and Landlord & Tenant Disputes.
Having long since retired as a rugby player, John limits his sporting activity to squash, social ski-ing and high handicap golf.
