John Whittingslow - Head of Commercial Division

John is the head of our Commercial Division which includes the Commmercial Property, Corporate, Employment, Licensing, Litigation and Rural Business departments. John personally specialises in Commercial and Civil work. He was educated at King Edward VII School in Lytham before going on to study Law in Leeds. After completing his training at Roscoes he was admitted as a Solicitor in 1990 becoming a Partner with that Firm in 1995 subsequently joining Napthens when the two Firms merged in November 2006.

Outside work his interests include sport, watching football ( a keen Manchester City fan ) and Rugby Union. He plays golf to what he describes is a "reasonable but not spectacular handicap".
