Debbie Smith - Paralegal

Debbie works in the Civil Litigation Department as David Barnes’ assistant and is involved in such areas of law including contract disputes, Business L&T, SMEs, Probate / Trust Actions, Constructions Disputes and small claims disputes.

Debbie initially joined Napthens as a legal secretary working in the Civil Litigation Department. After completing a law degree at the University of Central Lancashire in 2006, she was promoted to the role of paralegal. She then continued her studies at Blackburn College and qualified to become a member of the Institute of Legal Executives; Debbie hopes to become a fellow in April 2010.
